Why have aliens never visited Earth?
Scientists have a disturbing answer
https://www.space.com/alien-civilizations-doomed-to-collapse

I don't agree with the above theory.
Aliens haven't visited earth because humans are still primitive primates.
The aliens are probably observing us with advanced 'telescopes' that can see high res details on earth from light-years away, or they have sent stealth probes to record everything happening on the surface of the earth. We are still too primitive to even guess what kind of advanced tech aliens have.
As long as humans are restricted to our solar system, aliens won't care much about us, but if we ever invent FTL tech. aliens will probably make first contact.
The first contact theme in the Star Trek series is the most logical theory for why aliens haven't contacted us yet.

I kinda lean towards the theory that most civilizations destroy themselves before becoming advanced enough to travel space widely or communicate long distances quickly.

When and how did you learn that people and primates were nearly identical in their social behaviors?

I knew people had social behaviors similar to primates, but I didn't know it was about 95% similar.

Just watching and looking. Observation. And common sense. If people evolved from primates it only stands to reason that in a mere 100,000(maybe200'000) years the basic genetic tendencies have not had time to change. Then add in human tendencies to resist change of any type and here we are. I admit my comment was flip and I will read the article but really don't think I need to,
